Job Title: City & Guilds Electrical Tutor

Department: Training

We are looking for Tutors with experience in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, ideally with some significant industrial exposure, to deliver our range of City & Guilds Courses including:

2391-52 Periodic Inspection & Testing
2382-18 18th Edition
2377-77 Pat Testing
2393-10 Part P

Our ideal candidate will have a high level of skill and bags of personality, and the right approach to teach others.

Your primary role will be to provide in-house City & Guilds Electrical training for engineers looking to pursue a career in industry. You will be responsible for the delivery of the courses, developing and updating training materials, evaluating delegates and preparing assessment paperwork, supported by our Training Coordinator. 

The successful Candidate will have:

  • City & Guilds Accreditations (2391-52, 2382-18, 2377-77 and 2393-10) or willingness to gain accreditation within probation period
  • Experience of teaching in an Industrial or Classroom setting
  • Excellent technical skills and experience of working in an industrial environment
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills).
  • An equivalent City & Guilds Teaching Certificate.

Excellent knowledge of Control Systems and an understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and associated software/hardware would be an advantage.
